History
Intrum Justitia was founded in Sweden 1923 by Sven Göransson. In 1970 his son Bo Göransson bought the company. The expansion of Intrum Justitia began in 1974 with the acquisition of a debt collection agency in Switzerland. This led to many more acquisitions and today Intrum Justitia has offices in 24 markets in Europe. Since June 2002 Intrum Justitia is listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm.
Objective
Intrum Justitia's objective is to improve its clients' cash flows and in that way contribute to improve their long-term profitability.
