Intrum Justitia and Lindorff combined

On the 14th of November 2016, Intrum Justitia and Lindorff announced their intention to combine. On June 12th 2017, the European Commission approved the combination* and on June 27th 2017, the transaction was finalised. From this day we are legally one entity - and later this year we will also be operating as one.

Intrum Justitia and Lindorff share the ambition to be the trusted leader and innovator of our industry.

We believe that by ensuring that businesses get paid for goods and services, and by helping both individuals and companies keep their commitments, we contribute to a sound economy. We have each in our own right, pioneered efforts to transform how our industry does business with a focus on regulatory compliance and fair and respectful collection. Together we have a team of 7 750 professional, committed and caring employees across Europe.

We are working hard to combine our operations to become truly one company under one common brand and with one common interface for clients and customers. For the time being however, we will continue to operate under our own brands, Intrum Justitia and Lindorff , until our integration progresses further.

For you, as an existing client or customer of either Lindorff or Intrum Justitia, there is at the moment no change with regards to services or communications channels.

* The Commission’s decision was conditional upon the divestment of Lindorff’s business in Denmark, Estonia, Finland and Sweden as well as Intrum Justitia’s business in Norway. This means that Lindorff and Intrum Justitia will remain competitors in those five markets
