About the Economist
Anna Zabrodzka-Averianov joined the Risk Analysis Team as a Senior Economist in 2021 to enhance our expertise by providing macroeconomic aspects in our analysis. Prior to joining Intrum, Anna worked for 10 years as an economist at Moody’s Analytics, where she was leading the EMEA economic analysis and forecasting activities of the research team, including the development and calibration of alternative macroeconomic scenarios. In particular, she oversaw the generation of regulatory scenarios, which are part of the stress testing exercises of key central banks, including CCAR, PRA and EBA, as well as, various custom consulting projects with major banks and other financial institutions worldwide, for ICAAP and IFRS9 purposes.
Anna holds an MSc. in Quantitative Economics from J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt and a BSc. in Economics and Finance from Queen Mary University of London. She is currently pursuing PhD in Economics at Reading University.
